Job Description

Yard FLT Counterbalance DriverAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful dispatch team within a manufacturing company based close to Nottingham centre.Our client is looking for commitment and willingness to learn new skills. In return they are offering a full time Monday to Friday, temporary to permanent position after 12 weeks, with regular pay reviews and a long term career at a family business. You will be driving an FLT Counterbalance truck across sites, loading and unloading unpalletised material.You must be able to help out with all tasks on site.   • Using FLT to move stock.
  • Working closely with team members to ensure efficient shipment of products.
  • Able to be proactive and use initiative at all times.
  • Help to Load and unload trailers when deliveries arrive.
  • Be able to wrap/band pallets and store in an effective and manner.
  • Maintain quality control at all time.
  • Complete appropriate paperwork when completing tasks.
  • Communicate any damages and rejects.
    • Key Skills / Experience:
  • IN DATE Forklift licence.
  • Minimum of 3 years Factory/FLT experience.
  • Must be able to manoeuvre abnormal loads through tight places.
  • Exposure to working with different load sizes.
  • Full UK driving Licence.
  • Solid communication skills.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads when required.
  • Flexibility towards working hours and duties.
