Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team here inJewsonNottingham Colwick as aYard Assistant. This role offers a great level of variety, as you will have a balanced mix of responsibilities; working in the yard, assisting throughout the warehouse and helping out on the counter and shop floor when needed.Our team in Newark take pride in their work, doing their best to support their local community. If youre passionate about working with people, youre able to put your customer first, and you want to know what its like to work for a top employer that is working hard to make the world a better home, then read on!What will I be doing in this roleThe Yard Assistant role is a key position within this branch, from dealing with customer enquiries, managing the stock levels and ordering essential items, unloading deliveries right through to stacking shelves.Key day to day duties include:

  • Serving customers
  • General Yard duties
  • Checking customer details on our system
  • Printing delivery notes / checking orders
  • Stock replenishment
Hours of Work Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm plus every other Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pmWhat skills are we looking forFirst and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working; if you can demonstrate the following key skills, experience and qualifications:
