Job Description

Excellent opportunity for an Interim Workforce Planning specialist to work on an exciting project for an initial 5 months. The role will be completely remote.Client DetailsThe client is a large NHS trust in the MidlandsDescriptionDeveloping a strategic workforce plan by supporting six workstreams including, Family Care, Elective Care, Emergency Care, Ambulatory Care, Cancer Care and Ancillary Care.You will liaise with lead clinicians and service managers, using a project management approach and approved workforce planning methodology to;

  • Support service reconfiguration through the use and development of its workforce within financial affordability
  • Identify workforce requirements (demand, capacity and supply)
  • Transform the workforce to deliver new models of care, new ways of working and new roles to address national shortages
  • Embrace opportunities to use new technology and technological applications, supporting staff to work at the top of their license
  • Achieve a fully established workforce with credible strategic plans to fill vacancies
  • Efficiently and sustainably use the workforce, whilst maintaining safe staffing levels
  • Develop workforce profiles and functional mapping of functions, activity and tasks for service areas
  • ProfileThe successful candidate will;
  • Have significant NHS Experience
  • Experience leading and delivering on major change and transformation programmes
  • Workforce Modernisation Tools and Techniques
  • Complex project management skills at a strategic level
  • Excellent communicator and able to build strong working relationships quickly
  • Experience of using Workforce Planning Models
