Job Description

Window Patching Machine Operator - PackagingLocation: NottinghamSalary: DOECompany: A leading and award winning packaging manufacturer.Role: To manufacture printed folded cartons using window patching machines.

  • Make ready and run window patching machines
  • To ensure the machine is kept clean and tidy and that maintenance programmes are followed and documented
  • Monitoring quality
  • Organise systems to ensure all jobs and raw materials for the shift are ready
  • Complete documentation for traceability and to maintain our excellent BRC standards
    • Requirements:
  • Good knowledge & experience of carton construction
  • Experience operating window patching machines
  • Experience within folding and gluing would be advantageous
  • Passionate about results and fundamental belief in health & safety, quality, performance and training - demonstrates can do attitude
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to think individually with well-reasoned decision-making qualities
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal), with an excellent team working ethic
  • Excellent attention to detail and willingness to challenge
  • Ability to problem solve & mechanical aptitude
