Transport Planner NottinghamshireMy clients provide clients with a flexible approach to developing sites effectively and efficiently through the planning process within the following sectors:Residential (from single dwelling to large scale mixed used schemes) / Retail / Industrial / Offices / Leisure / Health CareThis is just a snapshot of some of the 1500 projects they have been involved with since inception. The majority have successfully achieved planning permission with no highway issues.Main Duties: Preparation of detailed Transport Assessments and Transport Statements Preparation of Travel Plans as well as Travel Plan Coordination Preparation and presentation of technical data and drawings Undertaking junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG Liaison with clients, contractors and local / national authorities as required Attendance at meetings / public consultation events as required Management of small / medium sized projects Provide support and guidance to junior staff within the team Taking ownership of other traffic / transport related tasks as required by your Team LeaderRequirementsTechnical Skills: Advanced use of Microsoft Office software packages Advanced understanding of spreadsheets / presentation of technical outputs e.g. traffic flows Use of AutoCAD Proficient use of ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG Ability to work proactively and use initiative.
