Job Title: Trainee Health and Safety / CDM Consultant. Location: Nottingham, East Midlands. Salary / Benefits £22k - £29k + Training + BenefitsOur client, an established Asbestos / Environmental consultancy is now looking for an eager Trainee Health and Safety / CDM Consultant to join their rapidly growing H&S department. You will be traveling across the Midlands, working on Industrial, Commercial,Healthcare and Educational sites, assisting the CDM department by preparing pre-construction packs and providing clients with construction phase plans. The role would suit an experienced P402 Asbestos Surveyor, who ideally holds other Construction / H&S qualificationsand who is looking to develop long-term into the CDM sector. Alongside support to obtain further qualifications, the client can offer a car allowance, pension contributions and competitive staying away / travel times rates. Consideration will be given to candidate from: Mansfield, Beeston, Derby, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Markert Harborough, Leicester, Corby, Coventry, Coalville, Tamworth, Lichfield, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Mansfield, Worksop,Doncaster, Loughborough, Barnsley, Wakefield, Scunthorpe, Sheffield, Huddersfield. Experience & Qualifications: " Ideally hold the BOHS P402 qualification and experience in asbestos surveying. " Degree educated - ideally holding a degree in Building Surveying or a similar subject." Experience working for a Health and Safety / Environmental company would be beneficial. " Understanding of relevant Health and Safety / CDM regulations. " Wil have excellent communication skills, written and verbal." IT Literate. The Role:" Assisting the companies CDM department with delivering consultancy services. " Providing continuous Health and Safety support. " Communicating efficiently to clients / colleagues. " Preparing pre-construction information packs. " Developing the CDM risk Register. " Producing construction phase plans, Health and safety files and building Manuals. " Carrying out site safety inspections.
