My Client, a leading lettings business based in West Bridgford have a fabulous opportunity to join them as an experienced multi-skilled trades-person. Excellent Salary from £20,000- £25,000, 34 days holiday *including bank holidays & brand new van/equiptment. Soungs great, rightThis varied role would suit someone who is able to work quickly under pressure to achieve results. No one day will be the same, and a keen interest in property maintenance is a must. They offer plenty of opportunities to progress for those who have the right attitude and work ethic.Full time (37.5 hours per week) with the potential for overtime and bonus where larger projects are undertaken. A brand-new van, tools, mobile phone and uniform will be provided.3 years experience working on domestic properties in order to apply for this role. Further training will be provided via recognised trade bodies as the role progresses. This will be the first role within their new in-house maintenance department.Key responsibilities include:- Assessing works to provide estimates on timescales.- Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance works.- Sourcing and collecting materials.- Carrying out various maintenance works including wet plumbing, basic electrics, joinery, painting & decorating, pointing.- Updating and completing time-sheets (using an app).- Arranging access via tenants and/or using keys from the office.- Working tidily and cleaning up once works are complete.- Identifying works to ensure the health and safety of tenants within the property.- Managing a maintenance diary to ensure maximum efficiency.Requirements: - Must have previous property maintenance experience (domestic).- Ability to problem solve and learn new skills.- Strong and confident communicator.- Customer service focused.- Ability to follow set procedures.- Approachable.- Well presented.- Self motivated and well organised.- Able to perform well under pressure.- Ambitious, can do attitude.- Ability to adhere to strict Health and Safety procedures.This role is a great opportunity for a talented individual to shine and progress their career within a quickly growing independent business.34 days holidays (Inc Bank Holidays) and many other employee benefits.Hours:Monday - Friday 9am to 5.30pm (some weekend work may be required, and we can offer flexibility on working hours in some circumstances)Holidays: 34 days (Inc Bank Holidays)Full UK driving licence.
