Job Description

Our client is an established and very successful manufacturer of printing and labelling equipment and due to business expansion Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Technical Support Engineer.The successful candidate will work at our clients busy office in Nottingham.The Role:Reporting to the Service Manger you will be responsible for providing day to day product technical support and administration duties which includes but is not limited to the following;

  • Provide effective customer support product & technical assistance via telephone and email.
  • Assist with scheduling field service engineers and work allocation
  • Maintain accurate computer records of all calls and maintenance / work schedules.
  • Produce print samples for customers as and when requested
  • Process orders for works and spare parts as and when required.
  • When fully trained provide over the phone technical support to customers in need of assistance.
    • Candidate:We are seeking candidates who have good knowledge of or have an interest in work which involves machine / equipment technical support or repair.Graduates or candidates who have an interest in developing a career with company who can offer training and long term career progression.Full product training will be given.Hours of Work:Mon - Fri 8.30am to 5.30amBenefits:Competitive Basic Salary Negotiable 33 days annual leave Pension Private Health-care Required skills
