Job Description

Technical Delivery and Assurance Manager - Initial 3-month Contract - OUTSIDE IR35A leading client of mine are seeking a Technical Delivery and Assurance manager. The successful candidate will be overseeing multiple projects delivering them on time and to budget, this is will be delivered by managing the internal team and external resources. This will be a 3-month initial contract with it ideally going permanent down the line.

  • Accountable for the effective delivery of projects, workstreams and technical initiatives across suppliers in multiple geographies and timezones
  • Technical awareness across the stack (dc/cloud hosting, network, compute, storage, dbase, apps, security
  • Management of commercial risks, issues, plans, reports and updates to mitigate/raise awareness as necessary
  • Matrix managing a multi-supplier team including multiple delivery teams in hybrid model (onshore/nearshore/offshore)
  • Qualifying the veracity of all project lifecycle documentation to ensure governance compliance
  • Ownership and management of risks and issues, ensuring the correct escalation route is followed
  • Proactively identify delivery and support challenges
  • Influencer at all levels of a dispersed geography
  • Organisational and influencing skills, flexibility of style and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess a high degree of initiative and independent judgement with excellent troubleshooting and decision making.
  • Ability to build relationships across a global set of stakeholders
  • Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and toolsets
  • Ability to create and manage on-going roadmaps for technical delivery
  • Ability to create standard reporting outputs to communicate to senior stakeholders and wider business
  • Management of budgets and resource planning including coordinating Statements of Works
