Job Description

Role: Technical Business AnalystSalary: up to £45,000 DOELocation: Hybrid - 2 days a week in the Nottingham office, 3 days working from home.We are looking to recruit an experienced Technical Business Analyst who is motivated and passionate and will be welcomed by a team of like-minded, innovative people. This role has been created within a small dynamic development team to analyse and documentrequirements, providing accuracy in conveying requirements and ensuring all key objectives are met. You will work alongside Product Owners, UX and Solutions Architects, Developers and Testers,creating applications that are utilised by multiple clients aroundthe globe.What you will be doing:

  • You will perform detailed business and process/systems analysis, document functional and non-functional requirements in the form of user stories in Jira/Confluence
  • Engage with the relevant stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate these into epics and stories on the product backlog
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Master to conduct refinement sessions and ensure the engineering teams understand underlying requirements, design the appropriate solution blueprints, and put forward the associated effort estimates that meet the business requirements
  • User centricity analysis - describing users goals - coupled with acceptance criteria
What we are looking for:
  • Experience in a similar Business Analyst/Technical BA role focusing on software development projects
  • A passion for solving complex problems and the ability to learn new skills quickly
  • Strong communication, able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Must be able to work on/manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Ability to self-organise and prioritise work accordingly
  • Understanding and experience in the Agile/SCRUM methodology
