Job Description

Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children on the Autistic SpectrumIf so then we would love to hear from you! We work with a variety of Autism specialist schools in and around the Nottingham area, who cater for pupils with both high and low functioning Autism.We are recruiting for September roles now and are looking for candidates with the following experience and skillsets:

  • Any specific Autism awareness training
  • Experience with the National Autistic Society
  • Any experience (either professional or personal) which children and adults on the Autistic spectrum
  • Experience with other SEN conditions such as global developement delay and communication difficulties
  • Team Teach training
  • Makaton/PECS experience or training
  • Support Workers or Carers
  • Experience with visual timetables including Now and Next boards
  • Experience using Social Stories
  • Experience in either SEN schools or mainstream schools where you may have supported Autistic children on a 1:1 or small group basis
