In this new role as Tax Accountant for this international business, with a UK Head office in Nottingham, you will support different trading companies within the group.This is a new role as part of a busy and growing finance function where you will be responsible for the preparation and filing of the monthly VAT returns for all UK companies within the group; ensuring the companies are compliant in relation to Brexit; work with the business in relation to any changes in tax legislation; and be the main point of contact for answering queries and managing relationships in relation to tax, including liaising with the auditors and external tax advisors.You will be looking to identify opportunities for reducing tax liabilities whilst ensuring compliance for the company, whilst also looking for opportunities for process improvement and helping the wider finance team if financial accounting support is required.We are considering candidates who are qualified or qualified by experience, the key aspect is your knowledge of UK VAT and tax rules and experience of working in a similar role.Is this you Apply ASAP to find out more.(The role is currently based from home due to COVID) Required skills
