Job Description

Managed IT Service Support organisation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Internal Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Financial Implementation Specialist/Project Manager to join their team. This role presents a unique opportunity to takeover the transition from their existing accounting software, Xero, to Dynamics 365 Business Central.Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
    • Effectively manage internal stakeholders and our external integration partner for the end-to-end project management of the Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from Xero within the organization.
    • Collaborate with the integration partner to develop project plans, set milestones, and coordinate with internal resources for optimal project execution.
  1. Consultancy and Requirements Analysis:
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand our unique business processes and financial requirements.
    • Provide expert advice on leveraging Dynamics 365 Business Central to optimize internal financial workflows and reporting.
  1. System Configuration and Customization:
    • Configure and customize Dynamics 365 Business Central to meet our internal financial and reporting needs.
    • Collaborate with internal technical teams and the integration partner to implement custom solutions when required.
  1. Training and Change Management:
    • Conduct training sessions for internal end-users on the effective use of Dynamics 365 Business Central.
    • Develop change management strategies to facilitate a smooth transition to the new system for internal teams.
  1. Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data within Dynamics 365 Business Central during the transition from Xero.
    • Address and resolve any issues identified during internal testing.
  1. Internal Stakeholder Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of their ongoing needs and providing continuous support.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for internal communications throughout the project lifecycle.
  1. On-Hand Support:
    • Provide on-hand support for internal teams, addressing and resolving any issues that may arise during the transition and post-implementation phases.
    • Collaborate with internal IT and support teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of system-related issues.
  1. Continua Document Capture System Experience:
    • Demonstrate experience with the Continua document capture system, integrating it seamlessly with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in project management and internal roles related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • In-depth knowledge of internal financial processes and reporting requirements.
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Business Central configuration and customization.
  • Experience with the Continua document capture system.

Contract will be for 3 months minimum but could be up to 6 monthsRole is based in Sandiacre, Nottingham and is a hybrid role – 3 days in the office and 2 WFH
