Job Description

Sales Consultant - Surgical SolutionsBasic salary to £40,000, uncapped OTE circa £60,000 + car + benefitsCovering the North of EnglandA great opportunity has arisen for an experienced sales professional who has sold into the surgical market place within the NHS and/or private hospitals. This is a brand new role created to develop new business within the north of England selling a multi-userange of surgical gowns and drapes. In part as a result of covid and increased awareness of environmental and sustainability issues, there is an increased demand for reusable textiles within the surgical environment, were looking for someone passionate andenthusiastic to drive sales growth through both clinical and non clinical decision makers.The Role:

  • To target and win new business with the NHS & Private Healthcare sector selling contracts for multi use surgical gown, drapes and tray wraps.
  • Working closely with the rest of the sales team, youll reach out to new organisations, new departments within existing hospitals and trusts and use yours and the organisations contacts to develop relationships.
  • Demonstrating or presenting products with support from a clinical nurse advisor to healthcare staff including Surgeons and ODPs so youll be in a theatre environment regularly.
  • Covering the North of England, from Leicestershire to the Scottish borders.

The Person:
  • Were looking for someone with a proven track record in sales within the medical sales sector, ideally selling into hospitals.
  • Youll have experience of influencing both clinical and non-clinical decision makers
  • Someone with great new business skills but also a consultative approach would be a great fit.
  • Youll need to be confident in a theatre environment and able to talk confidently with surgeons and ODPs
  • Good presentation skills are a must as well good IT knowledge of microsoft applications and CRM systems
  • Youll work as part of a team but also from a home base so the ability to interact and support the business remotely is required.
The Package
  • A basic salary up to £40,000 per year is available
