Our client is a leading Student Lettings Agent based in Nottingham!They are looking to recruit a Lettings Administrator to join their energetic and dynamic team. This multi-faced role would suit someone who is able to work in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.The ideal candidate will be a responsible self-starter who can help support day-to-day operations. You will have extensive knowledge of student lettings administration and a proven record of running a tight ship or team, hitting deadlines and targets ina high-pressure agency.You will need to be highly organised and able to multitask with ease while working in a high-pressure work environment. It will be your responsibility to run the administration of the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) department, with free reignto create the systems you need to enable business growth with a high level of customer experience for existing and new clients. You should be competent with Microsoft Office, more specifically Word and Excel, and if you have existing knowledge of propertymanagement software that would be beneficial. You will ideally be familiar with the processes of protecting deposits, progressing student rental applications, referencing, the property redress scheme and, if you have an ARLA accreditation, this will againbe advantageous, however, strong administration basics will be just fine.Responsibilities and Duties:
  • The day-to-day running of the PBSA administration department.
  • Handle queries from the team and advise directors.
  • Be responsible for the marketing and advertising of a 200-room portfolio
  • Liaising with international agent partners securing lettings of PBSA portfolio
  • Implement new processes and identify where efficiency gains can be made
  • Reporting and managing team KPIs
  • Department workload management
  • Ensuring department targets and timekeeping is met.
  • Handle any escalated complaints and deposit discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and improve internal databases and processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an Administrator or property Administrator essential
  • Familiar with property admin, deposits, property redress, lettings law and data protection.
  • Familiar with CRMs and ability to spot areas for further productivity
  • Knowledge of office policies and procedures
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office essential
  • Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail
  • Competent and assured phone manner
