If you fancy a change in your career path for the New Year the opportunity has arisen to join our team on Papplewick Ward within Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust.Papplewick ward is a 26 bed Cardiology ward and is currently under redevelopment to now become 32 beds for patients with a variety of both Acute and Chronic Cardiac conditionsPapplewick admissions come through a number of pathways including emergency admissions, heart failure nurse referrals, GP and Clinic referral as well as transfers from other hospitals and wards.Patients on Papplewick may undergo a range of procedures including Angiograms, Angioplastys, Pacemakers, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators, TAVIs and a range of other hospital investigations and procedures. Papplewick is a cardiac monitored unit and full training will be given to learn new skills where necessary.
