I have a great travel role in Nottinghamshire looking for a big sports fan or experienced Travel Advisor to join their sales team! The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the travel arrangements, sport fixtures, accommodation elements (rooming and meal arrangements) and general tour itinerary fulfilment for all types of group sports tours travelling to the UK, Europe and Worldwide.JOB ROLE:The successful candidate must be willing to visit sport resorts/destinations, to build long term customer relations and be willing to assist in presentation evenings as and when necessary.On occasion, the tour manager will also be willing to accompany groups as Tour Rep and travel out with the group and ensure their tour runs smoothly.Another key requirement of the role is to help answer the telephone and assist with general customer enquiries regarding their bookingAfter the sales handover, the tour manager will liaise regularly with the group leader up until the departure of the tour. They will calculate travel timings, make reservations for meals and visits, book match tickets and museum tours and liaise between sports organisations regarding fixtures and training.
