Job Description

Our client are seeking a customer focused, experienced and technical Solutions Architect to assist our Client services team.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive the best solutions in line with their business needs enabling them to transform and succeed using technology. This will involve discussing clients requirements and building technical solutions including Azure, M365,On premises and firewalls just as an example. These solutions will be complex and varied so a strong and proven technical background is essential.Founded in 2005, our client has grown from strength-to-strength and is now ranked as a world leading Managed Service Provider. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced Solutions Architect from an IT Managed Service Provider background, a motivated and technical analyst with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A passion for technology and providing outstanding customer service is essential.Key responsibilities:

  • Working with the team to deliver technical proposals and sessions for clients
    • · Assist and lead on the delivery of written technical solutions for clients as initiated by Account Management and Business Development function.· Perform site visits and client facing meetings to help support the Account Management and Business Development function with new business leads, solution designs and strategy designs.· To continually improve the standards and methodologies for solutions architecture within the business.· To deliver detailed network audits for clients
  • Effective prioritisation and workload management
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement both technically and in processes
  • Work in accordance with company values, policies, procedures and standards
    • Skills / Attributes Required:
  • 2 years demonstratable experience in a similar role
    • · Strong organization, presentation, and customer service skills
  • A proven problem solver

  • Able to plan and develop complex technical solutions
  • Strong documentation skills
    • · Ability to work to deadlines and project scopes
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:Essential:* GSCE Maths and English or equivalent* Appropriate Microsoft certifications* Appropriate IT architectural certifications* Experience of working for a managed IT service provider* Experience of administering and supporting latest Microsoft technologies* Experience of setting up and maintaining business system networks based on Microsoft technologies including email protocols, DNS, security, DHCP, backup and recovery procedures, etc.
  • Experience in virtualisation technologies and environments
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure and Office 365 technologies and environments, including:oMobile Device Managemento Multi Factor Authenticationo Intuneo Conditional Access
    • * Experience in Virtualisation Technologies and Environments* Experience of the following systems/applications:o Microsoft Windows Operating Systems including Windows Servero Microsoft Exchange Servero Microsoft Office Packageso Microsoft Windows Hyper-Vo Windows Backup Softwareo VMWare Softwareo Hyper-V and VMWare Clusters and VSANs
  • Experience of setting up and maintaining Networking equipment wireless solutions and connectivity topologies.o Switcheso Firewallso MPLS and Express Routeso VLANso Meshed Wireless solutions
    • * Experience of designing and maintaining Co-location technologies and multi-site configuration* Knowledge and experience of working with DRaaS solutionsDesirable:* Knowledge and experience of working with other Microsoft technologies* Knowledge and experience of working with LG and 3CX Phone systems and hosted VoIP systems* Knowledge and experience of working with vendor delivered SaaS solutions* Knowledge and experience of working with next generation anti-virus and firewalls* Knowledge and experience of working with SharePoint* Knowledge and experience of working with AWS and GCloud/GSuite* Experience/Knowledge of ConnectWise* Experience/Knowledge of Labtech RMM* Relevant IT QualificationsIf you would like to apply for this position, please use this link:
