Solution Architect x2NottinghamHybrid role - 3 days per week to be office basedOur client has a requirement to appoint two qualified Solution Architects to provide in-depth technical expertise to their Helpdesk and assist with pre sales efforts.As a Solution Architect with a focus on helpdesk triage support, you will leverage your Cisco CCNA qualifications to provide expert-level support and guidance to the Customer Service Team.You will be the go-to person for complex network and data centre-related issues, ensuring high levels of customer service and maintaining the integrity and performance of network infrastructure. You will also be required to provide pre-sales expertise inthe design and scoping of complex networking and data centre projects for delivery on behalf of clients.Cisco represents a high proportion of the business; there will be an opportunity to attain accreditation and expertise across key DC and Network vendors.Responsibilities:• Act as the second or third level of contact for helpdesk services, focusing on network and data centre issues that require advanced expertise.• Support the first level of support as and when required to ensure great customer service delivery.• Utilise your Cisco CCNA knowledge to diagnose and resolve complex network problems escalated from first-level support.• Develop and implement network troubleshooting methodologies to improve helpdesk response times and service quality.• Collaborate with other IT teams to design and enhance network architecture to support helpdesk operations.• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations and troubleshooting procedures regarding client environments.• Conduct regular training sessions for the Customer Service Team and other key contacts on network troubleshooting and issue resolution.• Monitor network performance and recommend improvements to hardware, software, and infrastructure to helpdesk management.• Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans.• Provide pre-sales support to the sales team for the design and scoping of dataThe ideal candidate will have:• A relevant bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.• Current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification; CCNP or higher is desirable.• Experience in network administration or architecture, with a proven track record in helpdesk support.• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex network systems.• Proficient in network, security protocols, and troubleshooting tools.• Experience working with helpdesk ticketing systems.• A strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle stressful situations patiently and professionally.Please do get in touch to hear more……..
