We are looking for a Solution Architect (Data) to join our cutting-edge Medical Imaging (MI) team. As a Solutions Architect you will have ideally come from a Data lead background and moved into an Architect role.As Solutions Architect, you will be the SME for all things Data Architecture within the Medical Imagine team. You will be responsible for defining end to end solutions and / or business offerings to meet the requirements of our clients from a data perspective.You will look to understand & analyse data flow within our Medical Imaging product, documenting this and architect methods of optimisation. You will also liaise directly with our clients, supporting conversations around Data & Data Security as well as analysingtheir requirements and architecting data solutions for our clients.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual from a strong Data-related background (e.g. DBA or Lead Data Analyst / Data Modeller) with experience performing Architectural duties from a data perspective and liaising with external & internal stakeholders.The right candidate will have the experience and knowledge below:
  • Experience as a Solution Architect specifically around data and/or any Information Management related projects
  • Experience building large data architectures
  • Strong understanding of architectural concepts, methodologies and approaches
  • Data modelling and architecting
  • Excellent working knowledge of design patterns and modelling notations
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of technical architecture roles across all phases of the development life cycle
  • Outstanding stakeholder management, client facing and communications skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to present data and findings to stakeholders in an impactful way
  • Ability to give advice and guidance on the approach to the design of architectures
  • Experience of design and delivery complex integrated Data and IT solutions
  • Demonstrable experience in technical delivery with a proven record in undertaking design and architecture activities
  • Solution/Enterprise design experience. Qualification (e.g. TOGAF) desirable
  • Design methodology experience. Certification (e.g. UML) desirable
  • Experience in scaled agile delivery. Certification (e.g. SAFe) desirable
  • Experience in agile delivery. Certification (e.g. scrum) desirable
Education:
  • Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline (Maths, Science, Engineering, Computing, etc.) or a related study, or equivalent project-related experience
  • English: Fluent
This role can be remote based anywhere the UK, with the occasional trip to our head office based in Nottingham.
