Job Description

Software Engineer - C# / .Net / SQL / ERP - Nottingham / WFH Options - circa £60KDue to increased custom, my client is currently undergoing a new and modernised Digital Transformation and has new requirements for 3 Software Developers to join their R+D Team. They are currently in the process of migrating legacy systems from VB.Net andVB6 over to C#, .Net core and .Net Framework. Future projects may also include Automation with the use of Python & Machine Learning but please dont worry if you havent used this as training will be provided. If you are looking for a role where you can makea real impact and create modernised software, then this is the role for you!About the role:

  • Working alongside the Lead Developer to come up with new and improved modules and features for their flagship ERP & MRP systems.
  • Transforming legacy software to new and modernised technology
  • Producing clean and reusable code for current and future use.
  • Liaising with company Directors, Leads and Heads of Departments, sharing new ideas for improvements and growth.
  • Creating bespoke and customised features based on client requirements.
  • You may be liaising with clients from time to time and providing some training and support on new features & implementations.
Technologies:
  • C# (Essential)
  • .Net Core or .Net Framework 6.1 or similar (Essential)
  • SQL Server or database knowledge (Essential)
  • ERP or MRP Systems knowledge, or having previously working in a technical role within manufacturing (Highly Desirable)
  • An interest in R+D, Python, Machine Learning or Automation (Desirable)
