Times are changing, and this well-established PR consultancy have a brand new role for a Social Media Manager to develop their social strategy and ultimately build a team.The role:To say this client has a lot of experience is a massive understatement, Theyre one of the areas longest-established PR agencies working with a wide range if both B2B and B2C integrated communications campaigns. Their business has really evolved over the last few months and theyre getting a huge increase in requests for social and digital campaigns, so theyre now looking for a Social specialist to join the team and own this area of the business. Its a really exciting, long term opportunity as youll be responsible for developing the strategic direction for the agency and also client social campaigns, developing a revenue stream and eventually, building a team. The role will still, by necessity, be very hands-on, so you must be happy to work at the coalface, making sure that all messaging is on brand and on target, and analysing the effectivesness of campaigns across social platforms. Youll also be developing the Paid Social aspect of the business plan, so its essential that youve covered this as part of a previous role.What were looking for:Were looking for someone who is hungry for a challenge, accepts that theres going to be hard work put in to achieve fantastic end results, and who is familiar with social as part of a PR agency offering. Youll be as happy implementing the campaigns as you are strategising about them, and youll be passionate about developing the latest technologies and innovations across social media. An understanding of Paid Social software is also quite important as you will be the go-to person in agency for all aspects of social. Youll also be used to an agency environment, the constant plate spinning and delivering creative campaigns.Whats on OfferSalary for the role is between £24-32,000, but theres lots of fantastic benefits including dedicated training budget, 25 days holiday plus your birthday and home working allowance. The team is currently working remotely inline with government recommendations, but they anticipate a balance between home and office working when conditions allow.
