Job Description

Role: Import & Export CoordinatorSalary: £24k - £28kLocation: NottinghamType: PermanentOverview2Fawcett are recruiting for a Shipping Coordinator to join a global manufacturing business in Nottingham on a permanent basis. The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for organising and arranging all shipping internationally, managing inventory andstock, and ensuring correct materials are received in accordance with customer orders.Role & Responsibilities of the Import & Export Coordinator

  • Import and Export to customers worldwide
  • Customs documentation
  • Inventory Management
  • Complete Import files to include all correct paperwork
  • Use our in-house booking system to ensure all goods are trackable by the team
  • Stores and Logistics
  • Stock Control
  • Shipping of Materials
  • Use of customer systems to ensure all paperwork is uploaded correctly
  • Use of in house system to provide landed costs on products to the business
  • Review, prepare and route purchase orders
  • Ensure the correct import/export documentation is in place
Requirements of the Import & Export Coordinator
  • Knowledge of current customs regulations
  • Previous Logistics experience essential
  • Experience with Logistics and boarder/tariff rules
  • Working knowledge of legal regulations
  • Must be able to work under own initiative
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP Systems
