Shared Services Administrator 6 month FTC (with the scope to go permanent£24000 - £27000 depending on skill set and experienceNottingham City CentreMonday - Friday 12pm-8pm (Hybrid Working) 1 day in the office per monthThis role is working for a very reputable, highly prestigious law firm with offices in Birmingham, Dublin, Exeter, London, Manchester and Nottingham, sectors include: health; real estate and construction; education; energy and infrastructure; financial services;government; insurance; manufacturing and industrials; and retail, consumer and logistics.The firm nurtures talent at all levels and from every background and celebrate what makes people individuals.The role is working within the Shared Services team to provide a professional, high quality and efficient document production service predominantly to the Health & Litigation and Insurance & Public Risk departments within the firm.Shared Services handles the processing of audio, hard copy and email work requests and also provides expert assistance to the firm in relation to resolving problems regarding formatting or corrupt documentsWhat does the role actually involve· Prioritising and processing all work requests, to include audio transcription of legal correspondence and documents· Using VisualFiles case management system to create notes, correspondence and lengthy reports,· instructions and pleadings in addition to using FormEvo software where required to produce court documents· Producing verbatim transcriptions of recorded hearings, police interviews, 999 calls, conferences etc. to a high standard· Producing and amending time critical documents with speed and accuracy· Creating, editing and reformatting all correspondence and documents in line with the firm’s precedents, templates and house style· Proof reading and checking all work for spelling, grammar, formatting, presentation and sense, including that generated by server-based speech recognition· Proactively working with other members of the team to ensure relevant documentation is produced to meet internal and external clients’ expectations and deadlinesWhat technical skills are required for someone to be successful and enjoy the role· Fast and accurate audio typing, minimum of 65 wpm· Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for presentation· Previous experience of working in a legal environment is essential· An expert user of key software packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel,) taking responsibility for any training needs to improve relevant skills needed to meet the needs of the business· Experience of using a document management/case management systemIf you believe you are the right candidate for this role please contact Emma or Charlotte at the Prescient Group for more information.The Prescient Group will be managing your application in accordance with the GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
