Water Treatment Service ChemistLocation - Nottingham, East MidlandsSalary - £25,000 - £35,000 (Depending on experience) + benefitsA well-established Water Hygiene/Treatment company who have offices set up UK wide are looking out for a Water Treatment Service Chemist to be based in the East Midlands. They are looking to hire either an experienced service chemist or a recent chemistry/biologygraduate who wishes to get into a service chemist as training will be provided to those with biology and lab experienceThe requirements for the Water Treatment Service Chemist role include:- You will have experience in carrying out chemical analysis of Closed Systems- You will have experience working with boilers and cooling towers- You will have experience looking after accounts- You will have good mechanical and electrical skills (ideally 17th edition)- You will also advantage with experience in L8 monitoring/water testing/chemical cleaning/chlorination or disinfection and water purification.- You will have worked in the same/similar role for a minimum of 2 years- Must be happy travelling the East MidlandsThe duties for the Water Treatment Service Chemist role include:- You will conduct routine sampling and analysis of water systems.- You will ensure customer records are always maintained, particularly any Legionella related records.- You will be interpreting results and participating in general maintenance.- You must be IT literate and hold a clean UK Driving Licence.- You will be carrying out chemical analysis of closed systems.The benefits for the Water Treatment Service Chemist role include:£25,000 - £35,000 Salary + Company Car + BenefitsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company that understands the value of its workforce and invests heavily in its people.
