Job Description

Senior Web Developer£40-45,000 | Permanent | NottinghamMacildowie are thrilled to be supporting a successful, Nottingham based PR Agency in finding an established and experienced Senior Web Developer to join their team.This role will require someone who loves to work at the forefront of modern tech using new and innovative techniques and practices.The role:

  • Tailoring the functionality of web platforms to meet client requirements
  • Creating bespoke functionality of platforms using your own secure and stable modules
  • Working largely on projects for clients using WordPress, Woocomerce and Magento
  • Opportunities to support other platforms such as Shopify and Craft CMS (but experience in this is not essential
  • Routine day-to-day Development functions with familiarity of Ubuntu, Linux, Apache and NGINX (preferable)
    • Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Senior Developer role
  • Proficient in working with third party APIs
  • Heavily experienced in working with PHP and MySQL
  • Able to work with HTML, CSS (inc.LESS) and JS
  • Experience with version control policies, deployment tools unit testing
  • Prior agency experience
