Job Description

Job Title: Senior Transport PlannerLocation: NottinghamSalary: £35,000 - £40,000As a result of an increasing workflow, the Nottingham based team of a market-leading consultancy have an opportunity available for a Senior Transport Planner. You will be involved in a range of projects across the country and internationally, with varied clients through the public and private sectors.Current workload typically involves working with commercial developers, local authorities, town-planners & architects, with the organisation offering a multi-disciplinary service into project delivery.Candidate Specification:

  • Degree level education and working toward Chartered status;
  • Experience in preparing transport assessments & travel plans;
  • Knowledge of UK planning systems, DMRB & MfS;
  • Familiarity with the likes of Junctions 9, LinSig, AutoCAD, GIS & TRICS;
  • Comfortable managing transportation projects;
  • Experience in managing client relationships would be beneficial;
  • Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
    • If successful, you will support the senior members of staff through the provision of technical input and assisting with project management.
