Job Description

Senior Project Scientist - Formulation Nottingham Competitive Package A leading CDMO are looking for a Senior Project Scientist to join their business heading up technical projects at their site in Nottingham. This individual will work alongside the Project Management team, delivering integrated drug development projects.In this role you will liaise directly with the client from project initiation and may have line management of members of the development team.Responsibilities:

  • Leading several complex development programmes simultaneously
  • Managing client interaction from initiation of projects to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery on commitments
  • Accountable for formulation and process development of the full ranges of dosage forms and routes of administration up to IMPD submission
  • Writing, reviewing and approving development plans, protocols, reports and client updates
  • Conducting, coordinating and supervising formulation and process development activities
  • Ensuring smooth transition of projects from development into GMP operations
  • Responsible for mentoring, training and developing the team
Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to be based onsite in Nottingham, with occasional home working.Requirements:
  • Experience working on formulation process development, ideally within a CDMO environment
  • Experience of solid oral dosage forms
  • Extensive experience in CMC product development or as a study lead
  • Line management or supervisory experience is advantageous but not essential
  • cGMP experience will be an advantage
