As the new Senior Programmes and Assessments Officer you will be responsible for the Student Information & Assessments operations for the University Campus providing first class administrative support to students and staff across all programmes. Managing the provision of a high quality assessment service that meets the requirements of the University and professional bodies acting as the first point of call for enquiries from clients, visitors and staff ensuring accurate and professional responses at all times in keeping with the corporate image of The University ensuring excellent customer service at all times.To manage a fully operational assessment system for the programmesTo be responsible for all pre and post assessments processes for all formal assessments/examinations including: assessments, results calculation and publication, award of certificates, student records, external examiners and any other academic- related administrationMarking Process - to implement the administration and marking process for all examinations and assessments. Liaising with appropriate teaching staff and external examinersTo manage the ordering and auditing of examination materials and assist in the accurate delivery of these to all internal and external examination venuesTo maintain an efficient and accurate filing and retrieval system for all exams/assessmentsEnsure the student database is updated at all times including all students and a record of all assessment results and other informationTo manage inboxes to ensure all exam/assessment communications with students and staff is delivered timely, accurately and in confidencePlanning and delivery of student induction for each programme intakePlanning, organisation and smooth running of student registration days, Freshers Week, tours, extra-curricular activities and other events held within the CentreTo manage the Student Activities budget for the campusAdminister class workshop groups and allocating personal tutors, ensuring that the database is always kept accurate and up-to-dateAct as a senior member of the Operations team to ensure appropriate cover is provided at all times for the CampusDeal with general enquiries from students, staff or members of the public either in personAct as fire warden/first aider for the Centre for which full training will be givenThis is a 13 month maternity contract to start May/June 2021We are looking for someone with strong Admin, customer service and organisation skills!Please note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a persons gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
