A modern and forward thinking Accountancy practice inNottingham are looking to recruit permanently into a Senior OR Semi Senior Accountant vacancy and they are approaching this piece of recruitment with a very open mind in terms of the type of level ofexperience they recruit.They have been trading successfully and undergoing quick growth, but still have a smaller team, which they are looking to hire into ASAP.This position is a key hire for the owner, as they are seeking to hand over the accounts preparation and tax computations work to a new recruit and also support them to on-board new clients.The firm largely work from newly refurbished offices, with free parking, but some flexibility / hybrid can be discussed.IT systems used include excel, brightpay, accountancy manager, BTC accounts and tax, quickbooks, xero, sage etc.This is a crucial role for the firm and career development and progression is available for the right person.Duties would include the following:* Preparation of Limited, sole trader and partnership accounts, predominantly corporate (ltd companies)* Calculation of corporation tax* Management accounts - On an ad hoc basis for clients* General advice to clients* Dealing with client queries and advising where relevant on sage* Experience of working to deadlines* Liaising with a portfolio of clients plus ad hoc work for other clients.The salary guide attached to this advert is only intended as a general guide.
