SNR. Linux Sys Administrator Up to £50,000p/a (DOE) Nottingham (REMOTE)My client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Linux Engineer to join their team to provide administration and evolution of their platform, which spans across the business. Currently at a scale up phase sitting around 300 staff with huge plans to grow a Linux team around this person. This is an ideal role for someone with extensive Linux experience and wants to progress their career into management. As a SysAdmin Engineer your main responsibilities are as follows:*Provide proactive 3rd line support on Linux; Including but not limited to Red Hat and Ubuntu. *Provide input into internal and external technology road maps *Act as a technical escalation for the internal technical teams. Work with Service Managers/Service Desk Manager on escalated issues*Provide technical expertise and resource to projects and transitions *Monitor and progress incidents, changes and requests assigned. *Maintain service levels across the team*Provide support, coaching and mentoring to other team members in your areas of expertise.
