Role; Senior & Lead Java DevelopersLocation; Nottingham City Centre (up to 2-3 days remote after pandemic)Java and Oracle, sitting in a tree, K.I.S.S.I…..Java and Oracle are a match made in heaven. You’ve gotten to know them both very well over the years, and can do pretty much anything you want with them! You’ve worked on tonnes of projects with them, and have concluded that your favourite application for them is to do magical things with data. You have done everything you can at your current place and want to sink your teeth into a bit, meaty project that you can point to and be proud you did that.Well, oh boy, have I got the role for you…You’ll get to work on a complete revamp of an absolutely massive product that draws data insights for customers. It’s a product that has been around for a long time, and has grown in size and importance along the years. But it’s now time to be brought into the 21st century, and you’re going to have a massive hand in doing that! You’ll be one of the first Nottingham-based Developers working on this; you’ll use your impressive knowledge of Oracle database, PL/SQL, Oracle BPM, J2EE, JBoss/ TomCat/ Weblogic, EJB to make sense of things, and then over the course of 3-5 years, will start to convert it to use cutting edge tech, including AWS (Amazon Web Services). You’ll be using Junit to test everything you do, to make sure its quality is maintained.Don’t worry if you’ve not used AWS before; they will train you on all you need to know to be a whiz with it!Not only that, but the benefits and bonus here are great- they’ll look after you in every sense of the word.If this sounds good to you, apply now, or drop me a line and I’ll tell you all about your new role!
