Job Description

An award winning IFA who provides financial advice on areas such as Retirement Planning, Business Protection, Inheritance Tax Planning, individual and group Pension schemes are looking for a Senior IFA Administrator to join their existing team.The right candidate will have experience in the financial services environment as well as a some knowledge of report writing.Purpose of the Role:

  • To provide business support to Financial Advisers, working within the agreed business objectives
  • To be proactive within this varied role, which will encompass elements of report writing, compliance, research and general financial services administration
  • Potential to also work with the Practice Manager and further develop the role
  • To maintain the highest possible ethical and professional standards at all times
  • Responsibilities:
  • Administrative support to encompass the processing of research, new business and client valuations
  • To compile suitability reports from structured templates
  • Preparing research, agendas and paperwork for client review meetings
  • To act as a liaison point for clients and providers
  • To maintain and update client information
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
  • To be able to prioritise your own workloads, plus that of an Adviser
  • Professional, responsible and courteous manner, alongside discretion in handling confidential information is paramount
  • Organised, being able to work on your own initiative
  • What do I need:
  • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft programs
  • Knowledge of IRESS/XPLAN Software and AWS Morningstar would be an advantage
  • Hold FPC, Cert PFS or similar qualification and to be working towards level 4 Diploma qualification
