Job Description

We are actively looking for a Senior Health and Safety Manager to join a housing association in the Nottinghamshire area on a permanent basis. In return you will receive a salary of 55,000 60,000, hybrid working, pension scheme, 36.5 annual leave. As the Senior Health and Safety Manager you will be required to:

  • Sit on our Senior Leadership Team alongside key decision makers from across the company
  • Manage the Health & Safety team and ensure compliance in all aspects of Health & Safety
  • Provide general health and safety advice, support and monitoring across a wide range of risk areas, as well as advising on training.
  • Lead on the development and implementation of the corporate Compliance & Safety strategy and associated systems.
To be the Senior Health and Safety manager you will need:
  • Health and Safety related degree or professional qualification (CMIOSH minimum)
  • To have comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety management
  • A valid driving license and regular access to a car is essential for this post.
  • Experience of successfully managing change within a team or teams
  • Knowledge and experience of using spreadsheets, databases and other IT applications to retrieve, manipulate and report complex data
  • Experience of working within a Health and Safety accreditation system
  • Demonstrable experience of fire safety management including a relevant qualification
