Job Description

An esteemed Fire Safety and Engineering firm is on the lookout for a Senior Fire Engineer to enhance their team in Nottingham. This firm, with a storied history spanning over 30 years, boasts a global presence across 20 locations and has successfully completedmore than 100 net zero Fire Safety projects. Their expertise is broad, covering sectors such as commercial, leisure, pharmaceutical, mixed-use, and residential. Their innovative work has garnered multiple Fire Engineering accolades, reflecting their commitmentto excellence.The Senior Fire Engineers RoleThe chosen Senior Fire Engineer will play a pivotal role in managing multiple engineering projects from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include:

  • Spearheading the integration of smart technology to elevate fire safety practices.
  • Contributing to business strategy and digital innovation.
  • Identifying new business opportunities, winning work, and expanding client networks.
  • Ensuring a customer-centric approach within the team.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of fire strategies and projects.
  • Preparing reports, attending design meetings, and liaising with clients.
  • Ensuring financial viability and high-quality design delivery of projects.
  • Mentoring junior team members and ensuring adherence to technical standards.
Role Requirements
  • A relevant bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience in fire engineering.
  • Proven track record in a fire engineering role, preferably within a consultancy or client-facing environment.
  • Expertise in managing projects, with a keen understanding of local fire safety codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Experience in leading project delivery teams and delivering fire engineering solutions in the UK.
  • Proficiency in fire engineering software packages.
