Job Description

Senior Ecologist - Nottingham My client is an expert in Ecology, Biodiversity and Arboriculture. They work with a range of clients which include Architects, Landowners, Developers, House Builder, Planners and more! They were established in 1991 and have since grew as a team and workon projects across the UK.They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to join their team and develop their business.Responsibility as a Senior Ecologist:

  • Conducting habitat surveys.
  • Write reports and issue recommendations.
  • Liaise with, and advise, site managers, engineers, planners, and others associated with a survey
  • Mentoring junior staff.
  • Keep on track with environmental policies and legislation.
  • Carry out environmental impact assessment.
Ideal candidate requirements:
  • Hold a degree in ecology, forestry, environmental science, or related subject.
  • Ideally, CIEEM member.
  • At least 5 years experience working for a UK based Consultancy.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Habitat Surveys and Protected Species Surveys.
  • Hold at least one Natural England protected species licence.
  • Member of Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.
  • Hold a valid CSCS card.
  • A full clean UK driving licence.
