Job Description

Credit Controller / Accounts Manager / Based in Nottingham (Hybrid 3 days a week in the office)Full time 09.00 - 17.30 (37.5 hrs per week) / 6 Months FTCReporting directly into the Head of Finance you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the accounts receivable process from start to finish for your own ledgers. Essential Experience

  • Previous experience of working within an Accounts Receivable function including experience in billing; credit control and debt management.
  • Good Microsoft excel skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Setting up and amending client accounts and funding details in the billing system from information provided by our operations team.
  • Chasing up missing funding information with the business within a set timeframe.
  • Responsible for the accurate generation of billing, which operates under varied frequencies.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely invoices are raised along with supporting documentation where required.
  • Keep on top of access to Portals to ensure we are billing the most up to date information and in the correct manner.
  • Building relations with our funders and ensuring that the payment process is simplified efficient and that we are delivering a quality service.
  • Maintaining a weekly log of status of each client, i.e. Billed, pending payment, payment received along with a cash receipt forecast.
  • Matching and allocating payment received to customer accounts.
  • Resolving unallocated cash issues.
  • Ensuring remittances are received and stored for efficient searching.
  • Reporting on aged debt with commentary and actions to resolve and reduce the aged debt.
  • Resolving bad debts by chasing payment from local authorities/CCGsICBs and individuals.
  • Carrying out Ad-Hoc Account Reconciliations to ensure all amounts invoiced reconcile back into what current funding providers are paying us.
