Job Description

Senior Business Manager Salary - £50,000 (depending on experience) Monday-Friday - 37.5 hours Location - Nottingham Hybrid Working The CompanyMy client is one of the UKs leading Motorsport Insurance providers who prides themselves on having a knowledgeable team of enthusiasts with a broad background in motorsport, so they have insider knowledge of the industry. Role OverviewThe Senior Business Manager will be accountable for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth, sustainability, and income to ensure delivery against its Business Plan, whilst playing an integral role in the delivery of the overarching divisionalplan. Leading from the front. The successful Senior Business Manager will drive performance and efficiency, creating a customer centric environment and aspiring to create a "best in class" function.Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the operational performance and growth of the business in line with Business Plan
  • Responsible for budget oversight, owning the Profit & Loss and delivering profit in line with plan
  • Create, develop, and drive the business strategy to deliver increased new business and policy count growth
  • To explore new and adjacent markets where additional products and services can be offered
  • Ensure appropriate levels of governance are embedded within the business culture
  • Work with Compliance and Operational Oversight to ensure all regulatory expectations are met
  • Communicate information regularly and effectively both the board and the local team
  • Review and agree quality performance standards to ensure that service levels remain within regulatory expectation and maximizing customer experience
  • Responsible for managing risk within the business and evidencing this through Risk Register and Incident and Breach management ensuring key stakeholders are updated.
  • Be key decision maker and act as main point of contact internally and externally
  • Instil and drive a positive and forward-thinking culture in line with the businesss requirements and regulatory requirements
  • Drive change to maximise efficiencies, productivity, and customer service
  • Build new and develop existing internal and external partnerships to help grow and support the business
  • Effectively performance manage and motivate direct reports ensuring the business meets its required goals
  • Live, reflect and act as an ambassador for the v10 values and the Customer Charter in all work activities supporting business areas to understand how they apply them in their working practices.

  • Experience in managing internal and external relationships and building partnerships
  • Experience in managing a team to deliver results
  • Experience in identifying tactical and strategic opportunities for growth
  • Knowledge or interest in the world of motorsport
