Reed Specialist Recruitment are on the lookout for anexperienced administrator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join aneducational organisation providing professional training in Psychotherapy and Counselling. You will be joiningthe administration team in a small but busy office. The post is Mondays to Fridays, 7.5 hours per day and with occasional Saturdays (up to 6 Saturdays per year).As Senior Academic Administrator you will supervise our administration team to ensure the provision of effective and efficient administrative support to our degree and masters programmes. This will involve the preparation of documents and resources for workshops,maintaining student records and assessment data, liaising with teaching staff and communicating with students amongst other duties.The successful applicant will be highly motivated and able to demonstrate a proven record of professional, administrative support in a busy environment, preferably within an academic office. They must have excellent organisational, administration and IT skills.The post incorporates a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities hence the successful candidate will need to be flexible and adaptable. They will be able to both supervise and work as part of a team and to use their own initiative. Excellent interpersonalskills, with a pleasant, confident and engaging manner are essential in order to respond to and work closely with current students, graduates and the wider staff team.Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Responsible for the academic administration of allocated courses. Responding to a range of enquiries and ensuring effective customer service and positive experiences to prospective and current students, graduates and staff. Provide administrative support to Programme Leaders. Maintaining accurate and confidential student records and documentation, in accordance with GDPR requirements. Scanning, photocopying and collating course materials. Processing student assignments and documentation. Liaison with Programme Leaders and academic teaching staff. Liaison with administrative teams within partner organisations. Use of library loans database to return, renew and loan resources to students. Any other duties appropriate to the role
