Protocol Education are currently recruiting for an English Teacher to work in an Alternative Provision in Nottingham. The school caters for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental health (SEMH) issues. The provision offers young people, who have been excluded from mainstream schooling, a safe and creative environment to continue their education.As a Special School with a high proportion of vulnerable students, this school will remain open during the current lockdown.This provision is ideally looking for an English specialist who has experience teaching up to GCSE level. The learners are predominantly male, and some havent been in class for a while so there will be an element of transition and routine development required. Experience teaching NEET learners, school refusers and those who have gaps in their education would be an advantage.
