We currently have an exciting opportunity for two Scientific Officers to join oursuccessful team in a busy stem cell laboratory, with a starting salary of £22,500 per annumAt Future Health Biobank we are passionate about protecting the future health of children. Our focus is in two main areas: stem cell banking and genomics.We are the largest stem cell bank in the UK and have been established for over20years. We fully believe in the value of these services, as well as their present and future possibilities. We offer three core services for stem cell banking: umbilical cordblood, cord tissue and dental pulp.We currently have two vacancies for Scientific Officers to join our Stem Cell Laboratory team, based on the Nottingham Science & Technology Park. Hours of work will be 37.5hrs on either a Monday - Friday or Tuesday to Saturday rota.Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, scientific officers perform the processing and quality control testing of a variety of sample types in adherence with standard operating procedures, regulatory standards and health and safety guidelines. This is to ensurethat our clients samples are processed and stored to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities:
