Science Academic CoachAre you a graduate, with a science-related degree, who’s searching for a unique school in which to gain valuable experience of supporting KS3 and KS4 studentsCould you use your skills and knowledge to improve the progress and attainment of students aged 11-16 as they approach their GCSE science exams***Science Academic Coach***Nottingham centre***£80-£90 per day***September 2024- July 2025*** 1:1 and small group support surround the GCSE science curriculum.Requirements:As a Science Academic Coach, you will have at least a bachelor’s degree in a science related field, along with a warm, friendly personality. You must have a clear, concise communication style, as well as the confidence to share your advanced knowledge of scientificconcepts with KS3 and KS4 students. You will be enthusiastic and driven and prepared to partake in activities with the wider school community. Previous experience of working with students, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not essential.The RoleIn your role as a Science Academic Coach, you will be responsible for assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, and the creation of learning materials that adhere to the GCSE science national curriculum. You will monitor andtrack student progression and use this understanding of individuals student learning needs to adapt learning materials and provide constructive feedback.
