Job Description

Learning & Development Sales ManagerA fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a people-focused organisation as a sales focused L&D Manager to drive sales and revenue growth.This really is a wonderfully broad opportunity to design and deliver the L&D sales strategy and to become an externally recognised and commercial arm of the business.If youre an experienced sales and L&D professional who is up for a challenge in a great environment where you can truly add value and make a commercial difference, then look no further…What youll be doing:

  • Lead the L&D sales and business planning strategy for the organisation, by having an outward in approach, looking for new external initiatives to bring in best practice
  • Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand the capabilities of the function and make recommendations for improvements
  • Develop an L&D sales programme that supports the business with commercial and cultural transitions
  • To identify potential business development opportunities for the future
  • Design and develop training
  • Identify skill gaps and developmental needs
  • Responsible for onboarding new starters
  • Deliver train the trainer sessions to Sales Managers
  • Continually developing sales capability within the workforce
  • What youll be:
  • A progressive L&D professional with a breadth of experience
  • Experience as a sales trainer
  • Outside/in mindset, the ability to network externally to ensure that the organisation is up to date with all practices across talent and L&D
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders at a senior level
  • Able to demonstrate clear decision-making capability at pace and taking responsibility for the outcomes
  • Have had previous experience of setting up and leading an L&D function
  • Experienced in working with international sales teams
  • Conversational knowledge of German, Spanish, French and Italian would be advantageous
  • Ideally hold a coaching qualification at Level 5 or above (e.g. ILM/CMI)
