Kitchen Manager - Specialist Support - UKWe are looking for a flexible Kitchen Manager that loves to travel and support various teams.You will be assigned various support projects that could involve anything from stepping in to support kitchen team while a permanent manager is recruited, or cover holidays or a senior chef vacancy. Responsibility will vary from day to day kitchen management,hands on approach to support busy operations, to training, to implementing consistency in delivering food quality and presentation as per specifications, implementing food cost best practices and controls, H&S implementation…What will I be doingAs a Specialist support Kitchen Manager, travel will be a big part and you will get to experience various hotels and kitchens within portfolio, you will work with General Managers, kitchen managers or regional corporate chef to deliver successful assignmentsYour role will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:· Support/ Manage and train the kitchen brigade effectively to ensure a well-organised and motivated team· Ensure consistency in quality of dishes at all times· Ensure compliance with food hygiene, Health and Safety, and stock procedures· Ensure resources meet business needs through the effective management of working rotas· Support brand standards through the training and assessment of your team· Manage food cost controls to contribute to Food and Beverage revenue· Knowledge of activities in other departments and implicationsWhat are we looking forA Kitchen Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
