Job Description

If you have great analytical skills and proactive attitude, then we would love to discuss this role with you.We are on the recruiting for a Risk and Compliance Executive to join our Legal client based in Nottingham. Working alongside the Risk and Compliance teamCompliance team as well as central team, you will work collaboratively manage the claims and complaintsdatabase.To be considered for the Risk and Compliance Executive, you’ll require the following essentials:

  • Ideally hold a law or similar degree
  • Working experiencing in a SRA regulated firm or similar
  • Strong knowledge of SRA Code of Conduct as well as the Monday Laundering Regulatiosn 2017
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Data Protection Act 2018
  • Strong team player but also able to work independently
  • Ability to cope with high volumes of information, often in short periods of time
  • Competent with complete MS office suite, including Office365, Word and Excel
Reporting to the Compliance Director, you’ll also be:
  • Acting as the key point of support for the company in providing accurate, balanced and risk based specialist legal, regulatory risk or complianceadvice to legal firms.
  • Ensuring data protection policies, procedures & processes are up to date and relevant for the company
  • File auditing and ensure that all policies and procedures are inline with regulatory requirements.
  • Analysing of risk and compliance date/ audit files whilst identifying risk areas and providing a suitable resolution
  • Assisting and monitoring the firms P11 renewal applications
  • Hold a good attention to detail as you will be responsible for the proof reading of vital documents.
