An award winning East Midlands-based law firm is on the lookout for an experienced Risk and Compliance Lawyer to join their growing team at their Nottingham offices. If you live locally to Nottingham and have previous experience in a compliance environment, then my client would like to hear form you.The Role:- Monitoring the risk and compliance across the wider business.- Ensuring that your advice regarding legal, regulatory, risk or compliance advice is accurate and in accordance with the firms overall process.- Reporting to the Legal Director, you will be investigating and resolving complaints, incidents and breaches whilst reporting on the themes you find through investigations.- Maintaining knowledge and control of the risks across the firm which will include ethical, regulatory and conduct risks.- You will act as the first point of contact for all of the risk and compliance teams responses to client requests and questionnaires.- Working closely with the wider firm by providing your input and support for business development from a risk and compliance perspective.The Candidate:-In order to be considered, you must have solid experience in a Risk & Compliance role-Experience in providing advice and recommendations to reduce risks and control any preventable factors-A confident communicator with the ability to advise effectively on complex factors of regulatory complianceHow to Apply:If you would to apply for this Risk and Compliance Lawyer role then please contact Vicky Cavendish on in our Chartered Legal Executive and Paralegal division.
