***Please note this is an INTERNAL VACANCY ONLY for NUH employees, therefore only current employees of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust will be considered for the post.***We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Renal Support Nurse to join our established nurse team on Bramley ward. We have a large number of patients who require support with their peritoneal and assisted peritoneal dialysis. You will support them with this treatment as renal support nurse as well as other clinical tasks such as venepuncture, cannulation and ECGs.The renal service at NUH currently includes an acute high dependency and transplant ward, a 20 bedded nephrology ward and 4 dialysis units, 2 of which are based here at the City Hospital Campus, one at the Kings Mill Centre at Mansfield and one at Ilkeston Community Hospital.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced support nurse who has an interest in working in a renal inpatient setting.We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking individual to join the team to embrace the nursing agenda and help the trust achieve its target of being the best trust.The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and work both independently and in a team.You will have at least 1 years experience working in a hospital/renal setting and have completed the venepuncture package with recent practical experience.Hours will cover a 24 hour roster and will include some weekends and nights.For further details / informal visits contact:Name Charlie Hunter Job title Ward Sister Email address charlotte.hunter@nuh.nhs.uk Telephone number ext 71338 Additional contact informationCharlie Hunter, ext 71338
