QA TesterLocation: NottinghamPackage: up to £30KPre-Rona there was a problem the tech market faced in that most companies wanted fully fledged and experienced candidates but weren’t keen to train them. So, it fell so a few companies here and there that were willing to dedicate time to provide training and take junior people and let them flourish.Well, here’s a company genuinely open minded with have the capacity to train someone in automation testing, if they have the genuine interest to progress and seek out responsibility by learning the product and demonstrating a keen eye for detail. As current team members can attest to, you’ll be well supported if you’re keen to learn and expand your skillset.whether you learn in your own time or are great at asking intuitive and helpful questions, if you have an understanding of software delivery lifecycles (SDLC) then read on!You’ll help define and demonstrate the quality of the web apps this company build.Their main technology moving forward will be Typescript, so Javascript experience will be appreciated too, and testing web apps will be the priority - with room to expand into testing some of their other systems. That said, they have some legacy systems running on PHP so knowledge of that is handy but for sure Typescript and JS are a bigger focus. You will work closely with the QA manager to take over some of his responsibilities so experience with things like cross-browser testing, Browserstack or Lambda will stand out. You’ll take on some UAT, exploratory testing and be expanding their automation suite, so you need to be able to write test cases, scenarios and ideally scripts, but that’s something you’ll be supported in learning too. This is a role perfect for someone early in their career or who’s looking to reignite the spark they once enjoyed. Please apply or reach out with your CV to leanr more.
