Job Description

  • Purchasing Co-ordinator
  • Days only
  • £30,000 - £40,000 - Dependent on experience
  • Nottingham
Due to growth and expansion are looking for a Puchasing Co-ordinator to join their busy team on a 12-week temporary to permanent basis.Job duties:
  • Keeps a well-organised collection of contracts for easy reference when needed.
  • Attends conferences to meet potential new suppliers and glean insight from other professionals in the purchasing field
  • Checks inventory/track how inventory is used, and adjusts purchasing habits in accord with apparent trends.
  • Forecasts demand for specific products and makes orders accordingly
  • Communicate with the suppliers and make sure supplies get where they need to be and on time, even when a deadline is tight
  • Oversees supply chain management
  • Continuously compare shops and negotiate to make sure the company gets the best possible prices on wanted supplies.
  • Communicate with management
Job requirements:
  • Purchasing experience
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor managemnt
  • Negotation and planning skills
  • Analyse data and to be able to work with figures
  • Experience of working with SAP would be beneficial
  • Experience of engineered products
  • Team player
Shifts & Salary:
  • Monday - Thursday (8:30m - 5:000pm)
  • Friday (8:30am - 1:30pm)
