Job Description

Job Title: Purchase Ledger ClerkLocation: Nottingham, NG8Salary: £24,000Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid work after training)Type: Full-Time, PermanentStart Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)We are hiring for a Purchase Ledger Clerk that is experienced in raising purchase orders and invoice processing in Nottingham. This is a fast-paced working environment where you will be assisting the finance department in managing and developing strategiesfor best financial practice.Duties of a Purchase Ledger ClerkIn this role you will be working in the finance department to review and improve procedures within the company. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Raising purchase orders
  • Chase RMAs
  • Setting up new supplier accounts
  • Managing Paypal receipts
  • Matching payments to invoices
Skills and experience of a Purchase Ledger ClerkAs a Purchase ledger Clerk, you need to have experience:
  • Working in a SME environment for more than 2 years
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working independently and prioritising workload
It would be beneficial to the Purchase Ledger Clerk role if you also had:
  • Knowledge of the IT industry
  • Knowledge of software and IT parts
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains Financial Systems
